MY PATH

As I look back to my childhood, as far as I can I see, God the Father has always been with me. Through the things my Mother told me of her being pregnant with me I also see He was there in the womb with me. He did indeed from me while in my Mother’s womb.

She told me that in the seventh month it was as if something “hit” her in the womb and I flipped. That turned out to be the enemy because I was born breach and with the cord around my neck. God had a better plan and the Doctor’s hands that delivered me were guided by the God of Life.

Jesus said that when the Word of God is sown the enemy comes to steal it. I now know beyond doubt that I am of and therefore one with The Word of God called into being for His purpose.

In the sixth month of my earthly existence the enemy came again to destroy that which God had purposed. I became severely dehydrated due to dysentery and was near death. The local Doctor arranged for my parents to take me to a Catholic Charity Hospital where they found a man with my rare blood type to do a transfusion.

My Mother said that immediately the color came back into my face and I was cured. Grace was with my parents and with me because God’s calling is irrevocable.

At age four I had to have an emergency appendectomy. At seven had to have a tonsillectomy. At age eleven diagnosed with epilepsy and took a drug for ten years. Diagnosed at the same time with two hernias and not allowed to run and jump. Also, buried alive that same year under a sand hill but rescued by my brother and a friend. God looks after His Word to perform it.

Began attending the Methodist church at age two when a young girl asked my Mother whether she could take me. She came every Sunday for four years to take me with her to church. I do remember standing before the congregation somewhere around five years old, or younger, to make a statement.

At six began attending the Lutheran Church across the street at the urging of our landlady. This church is where my Father’s family attended but left because of a falling out with the pastor. At age eleven was “confirmed” by that church. (This was the indoctrination into religion that I did not like but did not know why until age 39).

From age 16 until somewhere in my late twenties attended little “church”. During this time there was a constant awareness within that I was missing something. You bet I was. I was missing the “mark” big time.

But at age 39 (one stripe for each year of my life) I did cry out, silently from deep within and the Lord of all Mercy and Grace appeared to me to put me on the path He had already made for me. He immersed me into His Light and His Word.

Tried twice to apply to seminary but the Lord would not allow it and said He would teach and train me in the Way I should go.

All this is to say that when our Heavenly Father has a plan for someone’s life He sees it to its determined end in Christ. And now 36 years later I am beginning to see with increasing clarity of who I am within the Anointed One, Yeshua, and to say as Paul said, “To live is Christ. I no longer live. It is Christ Who lives in me.”

FANTASY

We have all paid good money to those who entertain us. For many who provide such entertainment it is a gift they employ to get employed to produce something to distract from life’s gruel ... and make big money, your hard-earned money.

It is, however the great tragedy of the times that our youth and those who want to live the fantasy of life portrayed on the silver screen that they become so captured within their fantasy. Infatuated with the fantasy that they now embrace the person(s) who are portraying their fantasies as the experts on life without ever knowing them, truly knowing them.

I can relate. And you will probably lie if you say you do not do or have in the past done the same thing. Do not let someone else be your god. And further do not let your self be your own god.

Remember a judge’s quote, “He who desires to represent himself in a court of law has a fool for a client.” In the same vein, do not be a fool to think you are your own god.

Find the True and Eternal God that has provided a Way for you to know Him as He is. Yes, as He is, the truth of all that is real. His love for you is real. But until you come to your senses you won’t pursue Him. If you are truly tired of trying it your way, He Who loves you is ever present to lead you into the Way of all Truth.

STRUGGLED ENOUGH?

I’m impressed to write this to all those who are struggling with an “old” vs “new” mind-set. The “old” keeps saying that you are a sinner because you are not “perfect” in your thoughts or actions. The “new” in a small still voice is saying, “I died for that and I’m here, right now to silence that contrary voice.”

The only way a baby grows is by beginning to suckle on the breast of its mother. That requires a closeness unparalleled in this world, the mother giving that which she has and the baby receiving from the mother. Soon it comes that baby is ready for more solid, yet soft food. Again, the mother provides that which the baby receives and takes. And so it is with growing physically. To grow we must eat.

So, in like manner we who have believed, in no way, by any definition are immediately fully grown upon first believing. We have just merely been given the free and permanent access through the Spirit of Eternal Life to the greater and eternal things. So, God, to grow us up within the Son of His Love, Christ, sends to us the Spirit of Christ Jesus Who then teaches and trains us within the Word of Truth in Christ the whole of Truth to lead our soul into union with His soul.

In America, the Spirit will lead to the Bible as our starting point. We need to let our eyes feast upon the Word of Life which is Jesus. He is also called the Bread of Life. Eat it, chew it, digest it until it sustains you with the Life within it. Then you will come more and more to understand.

We will only grow as we eat of the Heavenly Bread of Eternal Life. We will only be trained in the way we should go by the Holy Spirit. The world being without the Spirit of Truth cannot and therefore will not teach or train us in the ways of Christ in God.

As we grow up into the Way of our Lord and walk within the teaching and training we’ve received from the Holy Spirit there will be times that we make mistakes. This is especially true for those who did not receive the Word of Truth until they had many years of training in the world’s ways.

However, the Good News is that mistakes and even ignorance do not ever separate us from Jesus. Love’s Anointing that we’ve received never leaves nor forsakes. In short you can never lose that which is given of God Himself. It’s called grace, the favor of God.

Trust the love of God. He has separated us from the world. Believe it to receive and take it. And by the “way” you will make less and less mistakes if indeed you’ve taken and keep on taking of the life that God freely and continually gives in Christ Jesus.

DIVINE LOVE

    The love of God has no competition and no competitors. The love of God is God giving of Himself. God is love (1 John 4:8). That is His nature, divine eternal love.

                Jesus is the expressed divine love of God sent to reveal His Father’s eternal abiding love into the world that He made because He loved the world He made so much. John 3:16.

                The blood of the Son of mankind was then and is now the evidence of God’s love for All that He made. Christ’s sacrifice of Himself redeems all from an eternal separation from the Father of All things eternal.

                The Holy Spirit was poured out of the Father’s love through the only begotten Son, Jesus upon all flesh in order that those once separated would now be conformed to the image and likeness of His Son within Himself thereby partaking of His divine nature. Proverbs 1:23, Isaiah 44:3, Ezekiel 39:29, Joel 2:28-29 and Acts 2:17-18.

                We accept all the above and that opens the door to our heart to receive a spirit like the Son of God. We call this belief. However, we would not have this belief if it were not for Jesus giving us of His faith to believe. Ephesians 2:8.

                Jesus said, “All that the Father has is mine and I give all that I have to you.” The only requirement to obtaining all that is given us is to simply believe that it has already been given because it is the Father’s will that we have it.

                It’s called salvation. It is a new and lasting beginning of a relationship with the Heavenly Father that was planned long ago, even before the foundation of the earth.

                Mankind was conceived in divine love and made to be an image and likeness of divine love in the earth. Genesis 1:26.

                Therefore, my friends, follow the Son’s lead and abandon the ego by offering your spirit, soul and body as a living sacrifice to love. In this Way you will most assuredly encounter the true love of your life.
